Community comes together

What amazing turnout yesterday at the Cobblers Hall Over 40`s match, the amount of people who turned up to show their respects blew myself and the lads away.

We had a minute applause remembering friends and family who have sadly passed away.

We were joined by BBC Look North News, who spoke to a number of people about the work that has been done around the community, ensuring more and more defibrillators are readily available.

Members of the Shuttle and Loom football team were presented with a portable defibrillator before the game. Two of the team members witnessed first hand the importance of having defibrillator pitch side, after Ben Simpson suffered Cardiac Arrest whilst playing football at Eastbourne Sports Complex in Darlington on 29th January.

All the Cobblers Hall team would like to send their love and support to Ben and hope he is on the road to recovery.

Ben recently installed Defibrillator at his work place 3M and has made it clear that he want to become one of MISSEDABEAT electrical angels
