Working Together to Save Lives in Newton Aycliffe
We are proud to announce a meaningful collaboration between Stacey Hoggart (Wellbeing Leader), David Edwards (Health & Safety Manager), and Graham Moore (Site Services & Environment Manager) with Mark and the MISSEDABEAT charity, as we introduce Bleed Control Kits alongside defibrillators across Newton Aycliffe.
“Collaborating with Mark and the MISSEDABEAT charity in introducing Bleed Control Kits alongside the defibrillators around the town is an honour. Supporting the wider community, and prioritising investments in local charities helps to enhance community spirit and togetherness."— Graham Moore. Gstamp have sponsored 3 bleed control kits which will be placed inside defibrillator cabinets within the Newton Aycliffe area and registered on the Goodsam website which is linked to the emergency services

Following a visit to the powerful Knife Angel exhibition, the need to raise awareness around the devastating impact of knife crime was brought into sharp focus. These kits aren't just about knife crime prevention—they are a critical resource for responding to industrial accidents too, particularly here at Newton Aycliffe Business Park, the largest single employment area in County Durham and one of the biggest in the UK.
“These kits can play a vital role in saving lives in a range of critical situations. While we hope they are never needed, having access in an emergency could make a crucial difference when someone’s life is at stake.”

A special thank you to Paul Farnsworth, who has taken on the vital role of Guardian for both the Bleed Control Kit and the defibrillator. Paul will ensure regular checks and maintenance are carried out, keeping these life-saving tools ready if ever needed.
Together, we're building a safer, stronger community—where preparedness and compassion go hand in hand.
