MISSEDABEAT hosting an Evening With John Barnes

On 6th September 2024, MISSEDABEAT will be hosting an evening with Former Liverpool and England international John Barnes, the event will be taking place at the GLOW church on Aycliffe Business Park.


We will be holding an Auction during the evening, where you will have the opportunity to purchase some amazing sports memorabilia. We will be posting a full catalogue of the sports memorabilia available closer to the event.


A hot Buffet will be included in the price of tickets, and we will look to catering for anyone who has any special dietary requirements.


We are looking for sponsors for the event, which will include 'Meet and Greet' before the event starts, where you can get the opportunity to have photos taken and have a chat with John. There will be limited places for 'Meet and Greet' pre-show.

The Ultimate evening with John Barnes Live on stage. The evening will be full of entertainment and banter as you can well expect, so sit back and enjoy !


The evening will give you a full insight of his playing career, from previous clubs, to putting on the famous Red Jersey, to representing his national country.



John Barnes MBE  former professional football player and manager. Often considered one of the greatest England players of all time, Initially a quick, skillful left winger, he moved to central midfield later in his career. Barnes won two League titles and two FA Cups with Liverpool. He earned 79 international caps for England.


Barnes was born and raised in Jamaica as the son of a military officer from Trinidad and Tobago and a Jamaican mother. He joined Watford aged 17 in 1981, before playing 296 competitive games for them, scoring 85 goals. He debuted for England in 1983, and in 1987 joined Liverpool for £900,000. In his ten seasons there, Liverpool won the then-top-flight First Division twice and the FA Cup twice. He scored 106 goals in 403 matches.
