On 11th June 2026, Mark from MISSEDABEAT visited Brocksbushes Farm Shop to complete the installation of a new community defibrillator, helping to make one of the North East's most popular family destinations even safer for the thousands of people who visit every year.

Following an initial meeting with Amanda and Harry, today's installation was completed with the support of Rose and Elise, who helped oversee the final stages of the project on behalf of the Brocksbushes team.

Situated just outside Corbridge on the busy A69 corridor, Brocksbushes has grown from a small seasonal farm shop into a well-known Northumberland destination, welcoming visitors from across the North East and beyond. The family-run business is renowned for its farm shop, butchery, deli, homemade cakes, freshly prepared food, Courtyard Kitchen café, Pick Your Own experiences, seasonal events and one of the largest indoor play barns in Northumberland.

Visitors can purchase locally sourced meats from the on-site butchery, fresh fruit grown on the farm, artisan produce, homemade sweet treats and enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or Sunday lunch in the Courtyard Kitchen.

Throughout the year Brocksbushes attracts huge numbers of visitors through its popular Pick Your Own fruit experiences, pumpkin events, seasonal markets, family attractions and children's play facilities, making the availability of a defibrillator on site even more important.

With the nearest publicly accessible defibrillator approximately 0.8 miles away, this new installation significantly improves access to life-saving equipment should someone suffer a cardiac arrest on site.

We are delighted to confirm that ❤️💙Amanda has kindly agreed to become the Guardian of the defibrillator, helping to ensure the device remains checked, maintained and emergency ready.

A massive thank you to Steve, who worked beyond normal hours to ensure the cabinet was installed immediately. His dedication and willingness to help meant the defibrillator could be made available to visitors and staff without delay.

Thank you also to Amanda, Harry, Rose and Elise for supporting the project and recognising the importance of having life-saving equipment available in a location visited by so many people every day.

The defibrillator will is now registered on The Circuit, ensuring emergency services are aware of its location/times should it ever be required.

Every new installation helps make our communities safer, and we are proud to work alongside organisations that share our vision of ensuring more people have access to a defibrillator when every second counts.

❤️💙Remember, every heart can MISSEDABEAT. ❤️💙
