Tesco and MISSEDABEAT join forces and have defibrillator installed.

Gemma and her amazing team in Tesco Newton Aycliffe, lost a dear friend and colleague just over a year ago. Gemma (Store manager) adds that

"We wanted to do something in Julie’s memory, and we reached out to Mark Preston MISSEDABEAT, to help supply us with a 24 hour defibrillator near Tesco Newton Aycliffe in our colleagues honour and memory. The store team did an amazing job fundraising and help raised over £5k. Thanks again to our fabulous customers for helping with the fundraising and thanks to Mark for making this all happen for us really appreciate your support."

Mark and Gemma have worked on this project for over a year and are so pleased to finally have this installed. We feel the location will not only ensure the safety of shoppers but also families visiting Tesco park or the local Youth Centre

Mark would like to Thank Northgate Estate agents who kindly offered to allow MISSEDABEAT to have the defibrillator fitted to the front of their building.

The defibrillator was fitted by ShortCircuit electrical solutions Ltd.

The premises are managed by Dylan Bhogal (part of LCP/M Core), who have continued to work alongside the charity ‘MissedABeat’, to provide defibrillators across their industrial property portfolio. Mark hopes this partnership will continue to grow, and ensure shopping centre's and Industrial parks around the country are much safer places.
