This month saw the culmination of 4 years of hard work and many set backs due to COV-19. In 2019 kick it 4 seonaid learnt of a effort from Ruff and Tumble to raise money in order to install a community defibrillator outside the Adventure World play centre . At this point Kick it 4 seonaid offerd to work with the staff to make enough money to fund a 24 hour defibrillator.
After 2 lockdowns and many set backs we could all make our big push towards achieving our goals and after amazing joint effort between the fantastic staff, kick it 4 seonaid and MISSEDABEAT we now have the valuable life saving equitment in place and registered on the national circuit. Ruff and Tumble marks the second joint venture between kick it 4 seonaid and MISSEDABEAT after having installed a unit at Newton Aycliffe sports club this was a culmination of a massive effort of everyone at the sports club and Newton Aycliffe cricket club who helped us organise and played in two charity cricket matches and a night of live entertainment.
This will not be the last partenship between kick it 4 seonaid and MISSEDABEAT, Mark Preston and Callum Taylor were joined by the staff unveling the device.
Darren Peckitt was keen to work with Mark and Callum in order to have the device installed ensuring his staff and visitors to the play centre are all safe.
Discussions between Mark and Darren have taken place and it is hoped that there will be fundraising event taking place at Planet leisure.
