All defibrillators need to be serviced regularly, to ensure they are ready during a medical emergency

MISSEDABEAT has been busy carrying out monthly services on many of the defibrillators that they have installed around the region.

Cobbler Hall pub in Newton Aycliffe, has had their defibrillator activated on a weekly basis, and requires regular checks to ensure that the pads or the hygiene kit have not been. Over the last 12 months this defibrillator has been activated a total of 11 times.

A total of 7 defibrillators have been activated 16 times over the last 12 months and all require servicing after been activated.

By having defibrillators registered on the national circuit we can be confident that the defibrillators will always have the appropriate action taken when required, this could be replacement pads or personal hygiene kit.

The circuit will notify guardians 90 days prior to any expiry dates.

Enterprise City Spennymoor and PSP Aluminium Shildon, are two of the defibrillators that have recently been serviced. One required replacement pads.

Ruff `N` Tumble Adventure World on Newton Aycliffe industrial estate, is regularly checked by the guardian of the defibrillator, who emphasized the importance of this role during a recent visit from Mark.
