What an incredible weekend at the Great North Run 2025 🙌

  • 21 adult runners 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ raised an amazing £3,991

  • 25 junior runners 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ raised an incredible £4,994➡️ That’s a combined total of £8,985 raised to support MISSED A BEAT 🎉

Every penny will go towards purchasing and maintaining defibrillators, cabinets, and bleed control kits — equipment that truly saves lives.

We’re also mindful that the charity covered close to £3,000 in costs for places, vests, and other essentials — but seeing the team come together, push their limits, and raise such vital funds makes it worth every penny. 💛

👉 Looking ahead, we already have some runners secured for the 2026 GNR, whether that’s via the ballot or membership. We’re also hopeful of securing more places through the charity allocation, which will be released soon. 🚨

The Junior & Mini Great North Run 2026 is already selling fast, with some waves full. Luckily, charity places have been reserved for all age groups — but we’ll need to register quickly to secure them before they sell out.
