Chilton Juniors Football Club’s recent charity day supports MISSEDABEAT and Team Solan

We are incredibly proud and grateful to have been chosen, alongside Team Solan,, as the two beneficiary charities for Chilton Juniors FC’s charity day, which raised an amazing £1,726 — to be split equally between our two causes. ⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️⚽❤️

We were really touched by what the club had to say:
“We chose Team Solan because we know Mark Solan well and the many people he has helped and supported. We chose MISSEDABEAT because it's a local, sport-related charity — and with us all being youth coaches, it made perfect sense. Mark Preston is known to a number of our coaches and we’re aware of his support for local football teams.”
💙 Team Solan provides essential cancer support to individuals and families across County Durham, and❤️ MISSEDABEAT continues to provide life-saving defibrillators to grassroots sports teams and communities throughout the region and with more recently providing Bleed control kits to communities which are to be paced alongside the defibrillators.
What makes this even more special is that Mark Solan and Mark Preston only recently met and agreed to work together in support of our shared communities. Since that meeting, Mark Solan has already visited one of Mark’s neighbours who is currently battling cancer — and is now actively looking at how he can support him. That kind of compassion and swift action is truly amazing and shows exactly what this partnership is about.
We’re now in early talks with Team Solan to partner on future projects — and together, we hope to bring even more life-saving and life-changing support to those who need it most.
