2 Years on and it still doesn't seem real....

This weekend on Saturday 10TH February, Cobblers Hall Over 40`s will be holding a minute’s applause before kicking off against Hilda Park, in memory of Daz and the many close friends and family that have passed.

We did hoped for the game to be played at home ground Greenfield School, however due to the bad weather an alternative venue has been sourced at Sedgefield Community College (TS21 3DD). It would be great to see as many people as possible turnout and show their respects and the support the lads. If you could try and arrive at around 10am (Kick-off) and minutes applause 10.30am

Mark from MISSEDABEAT met Newcastle Co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi recently, and talked about possible ways the club could help the charity.

Daz was a massive Newcastle United fan and featured in the match day programme after the tragedy. He would be so pleased to see how the club is moving forward and how Mehrdad took the time to listen to Mark and take such an interest.

Mehrdad took a MISSEDABEAT card and stated that he would contact Mark and hoped to be able to help Mark take the charity to the next level and make the northeast sporting community a much safer place. Mark is hopeful that Mehrdad will be in contact soon.

If anyone has memorabilia that they want to offer for the future fundraising events, they can do so by contacting Mark at info@missedabeat.co.uk

Mark has placed charity boxes in multiple places around the town, the aim of these boxes is to ensure that any defibrillators that are ever activated and in need of new equipment or new batteries, the charity boxes will help pay these costs. Every penny counts. There is also a QR code on the boxes where you can make a direct donation to the charity.
